A Milestone Of The Heart

I saw this scrawled on the ground with chalk at the bus stop at main campus this morning. Loved it.

A milestone of the heart
Has the wind for a friend
Is inspiration for the soul
That stay's true to the end.
A milestone of the heart
Is a road's lightened breeze
Is the spirit of a friendship
Heard laughing in the trees.
A milestone of the heart
May be but a disguise
Is the spirit of the earth
And the whispers of the wise.
A milestone of the heart
May beat steady and slow
Is the making of the wind
Where kindred spirits grow.
